The Carrollwood Area Business Association’s President-Elect Focuses on 2020 – 2021 Membership Drive
August 19, 2020 — Tampa Bay Realty and Investment Group (TBRAIG) proudly announces that Danelle Castillo, Real Estate Broker, has been elected to serve as the President-Elect of CABA’s 35th Board of Directors. As incoming president of the Carrollwood Area Business Association (CABA), Danelle has volunteered to head up CABA’s 2020-2021 membership campaign that will focus on helping Tampa Bay businesses grow through B2B networking and a vast array of social, digital, and virtual member benefits.
“As a Tampa native with 25 years of real estate experience, I feel compelled to help our local businesses, restaurants, and non-profits during this unprecedented time. We need to come together as a community to support each other, and that’s what CABA is all about: members helping members,” said Castillo
Danelle was elected to CABA’s Board of Directors in 2018, when she was appointed as Board Liaison for Special Events: the Committee that has coordinated CABA Presents Taste of Carrollwood at Raymond James Stadium in 2019 and 2020.
CABA’s 33rd President Barbara Sekely appointed Danelle to direct CABA’s biggest event and characterizes TBRAIG’s Broker as grace under pressure,” Our business association wanted to bring Taste of Carrollwood to the Greater Tampa Bay community to highlight our community and our members. There was no one more capable to take on the complexity and enormity of the event which attracted more than 5000 attendees to Tampa’s largest venue,” said Sekely.
Recently, Danelle was nominated as Tampa Bay Business Journal 2020-2021 Business Woman of the Year. “This award honors Tampa Bay’s most influential businesswomen— women who have made a difference in their communities and have blazed a trail for many others to follow in their footsteps.” https://bit.ly/3l1cZ32
In addition to being active members of CABA and the Kiwanis Club of Carrollwood, Danelle and TBRAIG actively support a number of local charities including Bridging Freedom, GiGi’s Playhouse, Operation Helping Hand, Hope Children’s Home, Oasis Pregnancy Center, and the Community Food Pantry of Carrollwood-Northdale.
